The Program (“Program”) is the Great Client Club run by Thomas Telford Limited trading as (“One Great George Street”) of One Great George Street, Westminster, London, SW1P 3AA and benefits are offered under it at One Great George Street’s sole discretion.
One Great George Street shall have the right at its sole discretion to limit, suspend or terminate part or all of the Program by notice under clause 4 below, even though changes may affect the value of points already accumulated or accrued entitlement to rewards.
One Great George Street shall have the right to alter or remove Program terms, benefits, participation conditions, rewards and reward qualifications in whole or part at any time by notice under clause 4 below, even if changes may affect the value of points already accumulated or accrued entitlement to rewards.
Changes to the terms and conditions will be shown on the Program’s website at www.onegreatgeorgestreet.com/conference_greatclientclub.asp. Such changes will take effect, and Members of the Program will be bound by them, immediately unless otherwise stated in the notice.
Members should note that taking part in the Program may require their employer’s approval in advance. If an employer prohibits or restricts its employees’ participation in the Program, One Great George Street does not accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever for compliance with such employment rules. Members shall be responsible for obtaining any necessary employer approvals to enter the Program. Members are not entitled to enter the Program if prohibited by any UK or foreign law.
It is prohibited for a Member to sell or otherwise transfer points rewards or other Program benefits, or any interest in any of them, (including without limitation upon death) whether to another Member account or to any other person. Any purported transfer or grant in breach of these terms and conditions shall entitle One Great George Street to cancel such points, rewards or other Program benefits at its absolute discretion.
Breach or abuse of the Program, or fraud, may result in legal action by One Great George Street or appropriate authorities, which may include (but may not be limited to) cancellation of points awarded or rewards claimed or issued pursuant to point redemptions, as well as cancellation of the Member’s Program account and future participation in the Program.
Interpretation of the Program and terms and conditions of the Program shall be at the sole discretion of One Great George Street, whose decision shall be final and binding on all matters relating to the Program, with no right of appeal.
Neither the Program nor any benefit under it shall create, constitute or give rise to, any contractual or other legal or equitable rights of Members against One Great George Street.
Benefits under the Program cannot be used together with other special offers or promotions whatsoever.
11.1 Conditions. To become a Member of the Program, a person:
Members are allowed only one account per Member.
11.2 Exclusions. The following persons are not permitted to join the Program:
Bookings for wedding, civil ceremony or weekend social events are not eligible bookings.
Invitations to apply for membership will be issued by the Great Client Club administrator. On acceptance for membership by the Great Client Club administrator, a new Member will receive a membership number and additional information. The Great Client Club administrator will correspond by email only.
A Member’s membership of the Program may be cancelled and all his or her unredeemed points revoked by One Great George Street. Reasons for cancellation include (without limitation):
Cancellation will be forthwith upon One Great George Street sending notice to the Member concerned, whereupon all his or her points will be revoked.
Each Member may cancel his or her Membership by giving notice in writing to the Great Client Club administrator. Members will have 30 days from receipt of notice of termination to redeem their points after which all their unredeemed points will be revoked.
If any Member’s Program account remains unused for a period of three years, it will automatically lapse and any unredeemed points will be automatically revoked. Members may reopen a lapsed account, but no revoked points will be reinstated.
ONE GREAT GEORGE STREET MAKES NO GUARANTEES, WARRANTIES (WHETHER OF SUITABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, FITNESS FOR PURPOSE OR OTHERWISE) OR REPRESENTATIONS OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROGRAM OR ANY REWARDS.
SUBJECT TO CLAUSE 18 BELOW, ONE GREAT GEORGE STREET SHALL NOT IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR FOR ANY LIABILITY OF MEMBERS OR OTHER PERSONS IN RELATION TO THE PROGRAM OR ANY REWARDS AND IN PARTICULAR, BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION ONE GREAT GEORGE STREET SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY (A) LOSS OF PROFIT, (B) ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, (C) GOODWILL OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES OR (D) ANY TYPE OF INDIRECT, ECONOMIC OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS.
Nothing in these terms and conditions shall operate to exclude or restrict the liability of One Great George Street for death or personal injury due to its negligence (within the meaning in the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977), section 2(3) Consumer Protection Act 1987, any fraudulent misrepresentation or anything else that it would be unlawful for One Great George Street to exclude (or attempt to exclude) or restrict liability for. If the Member is dealing as a consumer, nothing in these terms and conditions shall be construed as adversely affecting the Member’s statutory rights.
Members may be subject to tax in respect of points or rewards received under the Program, but One Great George Street accepts no responsibility in respect of any such tax liability, including without limitation, any disclosure required in connection with the receipt and/or use of points or rewards, all of which shall be the responsibility of the Members concerned.
No person other than One Great George Street and Members shall have any rights under or in connection with the Program by virtue of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999, but this does not affect any right or remedy of a third party which exists, or is available, apart from that Act.
The Program and these terms and conditions are governed by, and shall be construed in accordance with, English law. The courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear and determine any suit, action or proceedings, and to settle any disputes, which may arise out of or in connection with the Program and these terms and conditions and, for such purposes, each Member irrevocably submits to the jurisdiction of the courts of England.
Points will be awarded to Members’ accounts on the basis of one point for every five pounds sterling received by One Great George Street in respect of eligible bookings made after commencement of Membership. Qualifying expenditure includes sums received in full for events, conference rooms, food and beverage services linked to meetings and/or inclusive meeting packages, but excludes taxes. No points will be awarded on cancelled bookings even if the Member has paid in full.
Points shall have no value and cannot be redeemed for cash, money or money’s worth or any other credit and cannot be sold or bartered. Points may only be presented for redemption in accordance with the Program’s terms and conditions. Members shall have no ownership interest in accrued points and accrued points are not property of Members. The use of the word “earn” in these terms and conditions and any marketing materials in relation to the Program or points shall mean “collect” and shall not mean that points have any value.
Points listed in Members’ accounts are subject to change to reflect actual expenditure with One Great George Street, any adjustments and changes to the Program. Any Member who believes his or her account statement is incorrect must contact the Great Client Club administrator as soon as possible. Members must retain all invoices for their records, because they will be needed for queries about account statements.
Points unredeemed will expire 3 years after being earned. Points are capped at 8,000, meaning that at any time when a Member’s points balance has reached 8,000 points, the Member will be unable to earn more points until some or all of the 8,000 points have been redeemed.
Members cannot earn points in respect of events or other use of One Great George Street’s facilities which took place before they became Members.
Members may redeem their points for rewards by contacting the Great Client Club administrator. Members must have the required number of points in their account prior to redeeming points for rewards. All rewards are subject to availability and One Great George Street reserves the right to delete, add, modify or substitute rewards or reward selections in the Program at any time.
Rewards do not include the provision of transportation to or from any reward event, or reimbursement of the cost of such transportation.
Members must address all questions or correspondence about issued rewards to the third party provider or operator of the reward event, not to One Great George Street. One Great George Street does not provide a help desk in relation to issued rewards.
All redemptions of points are final and Members may not return or substitute rewards.
Most rewards will comprise events or goods or services provided by third party providers or operators and will be issued on an “as is” basis. One Great George Street shall not be responsible for the quality or delivery of such rewards or performance of such providers or operators.
One Great George Street shall not be responsible for the safety standards of rewards, or any loss or damage suffered by a Member, or any other persons who benefit from the use of a reward issued to a Member, when using a reward or participating in a reward event. The third party operators or providers shall be solely responsible for such matters.
One Great George Street accepts no responsibility for any cancellation, postponement or alteration of an event to which any reward relates or if the third party operator or provider of a reward event fails to provide it for any reason whatsoever.
In addition to these terms and conditions:
Rewards will not be replaced or reissued, nor will points be credited to a Member’s account, if any reward expires or is lost, stolen or otherwise destroyed.
One Great George Street will not be responsible for rewards or correspondence which are lost or delayed by the Royal Mail or by another delivery service.
