  • Best private Dining Venue - One Great George Street
    In 2016 One Great George Street scooped the title of London’s 'Best Private Dining Venue’ at the London Venue Awards. One Great George Street's Marketing & PR Manager Katie McCarthy said: “One Great George Street is honoured to have been recognised as London’s ‘Best Private Dining Venue’ by the London Venue Awards. As an independent venue One Great George Street has the freedom to purchase from specialist suppliers on a daily basis and therefore only uses the freshest, finest and where possible locally-sourced produce. Whether guests choose from our extensive catering menu or prefer to go off-piste with a bespoke menu, they can rest assured that they have selected an organisation strongly committed to sustainability, and whose diverse team of talented chefs and front of house staff will ensure their private dining event exceeds expectations. We are delighted that this has been officially recognised – especially against such tough competition from our industry peers.”
  • London's Best Wedding Venue
    In 2017 One Great George Street was honoured to accept an award as 'London's Best Wedding Venue' at The London Venue Awards held on Friday 20th October.
  • 2016 Prestigious Star Award - One Great George Street - Winner
    In 2016 One Great George Street was honoured with the title ‘The World’s Most Prestigious Film Location Venue’ at The Prestigious Star Awards following a public vote. One Great George Street's Marketing & PR Manager Katie McCarthy said: "Having been honoured with the title of ‘The World’s Most Prestigious Conference Venue’ last year, One Great George Street is delighted to have gained further recognition this year as ‘The World’s Most Prestigious Film Location Venue’ against over 2000 applicants and tough competition from our fellow finalists and global industry peers. It has been a busy year for One Great George Street having played host to numerous series and films including Woman in Gold, The Night Manager, War Machine and Wonder Woman, and we’re thrilled to be recognised as the ideal film location venue for Location Managers worldwide.”
  • The VenueVerdict Gold Standard Accreditation
    In 2016 The VenueVerdict Gold Standard Accreditation was awarded to One Great George Street for consistently receiving a twelve-month Net Promoter Score of +70 or higher from 40 or more Business Event Host responses in the twelve month period July 2015 to June 2016.  
  • The World’s Most Prestigious Conference Venue Award
    In 2015 One Great George Street scooped ‘The World’s Most Prestigious Conference Venue’ award against tough competition from fellow finalists The Savoy and Dubai’s Burj Al Arab. One Great George Street’s Marketing Manager Katie McCarthy was presented the award at a ceremony hosted by the global Prestigious Star Awards; in celebration of the quality, performance and reputation of the world’s most reputable venues.
  • Cateys 2013

    In July 2013 we won a Catey Accessibility Award for making our Grade II listed building easy for everyone to use. We have added numerous features aimed at making the venue uniquely accessible to make life as easy as possible for people with accessible requirements.

  • Gold Aim

    We hold a gold award for mia Accredited in Meetings. It is recognised as the mark for accredited venues and service providers in the meetings, conference and events industry. Aim venues are organisations that uphold quality, professionalism and value for money.

  • Green Tourism Silver 2013

    The Green Tourism Business Scheme is the national sustainable tourism certification scheme for the UK. It is the only national scheme to be independently validated by the International Centre for Responsible Tourism (ICRT) on behalf of VisitEngland. Businesses opting to join Green Tourism are assessed by a qualified grading advisor against a rigorous set of criteria, covering a range of areas, like energy and water efficiency, waste management, biodiversity and more.

  • M&IT 2013

    The M&IT Awards recognises suppliers from across the travel and meetings industry and rewards excellence of service and product. In March 2013 we were awarded an M&IT awards for Access Excellence

  • Visit England Award for Excellence 2013

    These awards celebrate the very best of English tourism, in 2013 we were commended for our Access for All. This accolade recognises tourism businesses that excel in providing access for all visitors and particularly people with impairments and other physical and sensory access needs. As part of the award we have a written Access Statement available which details all our accessibility services and features.
