One Great George Street wins coveted GOLD for best direct marketing campaign award
One Great George Street, the leading conference, meeting and events venue in the heart of Westminster, has scooped a gold award for ‘Best Direct Marketing Campaign’ at the 2011 Meetings Industry Marketing Awards (MIMA). The winning campaign, which featured an exclusive Government Offer, beat off competing entries at an awards ceremony held on 17 October 2011 at the Park Plaza Riverbank hotel.
With excellent facilities located just a minute walk from Parliament Square in the heart of London’s political life, One Great George Street is the perfect choice for government meetings and events. In this time of ever-decreasing government budgets, the venue needed to operate in an efficient and tactical manner to maintain its client list and business levels. So it formulated an attractive offer to sustain continued business in a challenging economy.
“Receiving this award is such a testament to the effort that went into this project. I’d like to extend a thank you to Anna Glazebrook, Sales & Marketing Executive, who successfully managed the campaign along with the nomination process. One Great George Street is also very appreciative of the expert help received from their loyal business partners, Design Incorporated and Storrington Communications, ” Commented Wendy Greenhalgh, Director of Sales & Marketing at One Great George Street and Board Director of the Westminster collection.
In the summer of 2010, London & Partners announced that One Great George Street won the contract as the venue of the London Media Centre for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
