Best Film Location Venue

One Great George Street is honoured to have been crowned ‘Best Film Location Venue’ at the global Prestigious Star Awards.

This is the second time in a row One Great George Street has been bestowed this award, further cementing its status as the ideal historic, London filming venue. Location Managers have chosen the venue for many notable  television series and films and praise its unique features, ability to gain exclusive use and the allocation of a dedicated event co-ordinator to assist in sourcing suitable spaces for their theme and budget.

Selected from a shortlist of over 2,000 global venues, 200 nominees vied for recognition, with 25 emerging triumphant. These nominees underwent rigorous scrutiny as event bookers cast their votes in July, leading to the selection of three finalists in each category. The winners were chosen after evaluation by Prestigious Venues global ambassadors, venue specialists, and event planners in August.

The awards ceremony on March 15th brought together 140 distinguished individuals from the Prestigious Venues network. Among the attendees were senior representatives from leading international venues, esteemed corporate partners, prestigious event suppliers, and VIP clients.

Now in its fourteenth year, the Prestigious Star Awards continue to celebrate the quality, performance, and reputation of the world’s premier venues capable of hosting unforgettable events. This annual awards program, organised by Prestigious Venues, not only recognises excellence but also serves as a benchmark for venue recommendations and the development of international rankings, including the 'Top 100 Venues' worldwide.
