The world’s Best Fashion Event Venue

I’m delighted to announce that One Great George Street has been crowned the world’s ‘Best Fashion Event Venue’ at the global Prestigious Star Awards!

Now in its fifteenth year, the Prestigious Star Awards 2026 took place on Friday 20 March at the iconic Georgian at Harrods. 

With over 2,000 venues reviewed annually and only around 2 percent achieving nomination status, the awards represent one of the highest distinctions in the events industry.

The evening welcomed an international audience of leading event bookers, hospitality professionals and industry figures, reflecting the global reach of the Prestigious Venues network, which spans more than 30 international markets and over 18,500 event bookers.

On accepting the award I noted: ‘It is an absolute honour to accept this award for the world’s ‘Best Fashion Event Venue’ especially against such tough competition from our global industry peers. I’d like to dedicate this award to the whole team at One Great George Street who work tirelessly every day to elevate our clients’ events, especially during all our recent London Fashion Week shows.”

Speaking on the occasion, Habib Amir, Founder of Prestigious Venues, commented:

Alongside my wonderful colleagues Anthony Kwokori and Yvonne Williams we put our best fashion feet forward and were treated to an amazing awards ceremony at Harrods alongside our industry peers filled with fine wine, elevated canapés and wonderful entertainment.

We admired an exquisite ballroom performance by City Academy champions Nataliia Siianko and Nikos Pallikarou, accompanied live by Urban Soul Orchestra, and magical marvels from Sky.

I would like to extend our thanks to everyone who voted for us, for the warm hospitality we experienced beneath the glittering chandeliers of the Georgian Ballroom at Harrods, not to mention the afterparty at Funkybuddha, and last but by no means least to Jessamie Dunton-Rose & Habib Amir for making the #PrestigiousStarAwards possible.
